Keto-Friendly Chocolate Avocado Mousse

All of the recipe, none of the chatter.

Keto-Friendly Chocolate Avocado Mousse

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/4 cup powdered erythritol (or any keto-friendly sweetener of your choice)

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any low-carb milk of your choice)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, shaved dark chocolate, sliced almonds

Directions:

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop out the flesh into a blender or food processor.

  2. Add the unsweetened cocoa powder, powdered erythritol, unsweetened almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the blender or food processor.

  3. Blend or process the mixture until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed to ensure everything is well combined.

  4. Taste the mousse and adjust the sweetness by adding more powdered erythritol if desired.

  5. Transfer the chocolate avocado mousse to serving bowls or glasses.

  6. Refrigerate the mousse for at least 1-2 hours, or until it is chilled and set.

  7. Once chilled, remove the mousse from the refrigerator and add your desired toppings, such as a dollop of whipped cream, shaved dark chocolate, or sliced almonds.

  8. Serve the Keto-Friendly Chocolate Avocado Mousse chilled and indulge in the rich, velvety texture and chocolatey flavor without the guilt of traditional desserts.

This decadent and creamy mousse is not only delicious but also packed with healthy fats from the avocados. It's a perfect keto-friendly treat to satisfy your chocolate cravings while staying on track with your low-carb lifestyle.
